Damian Maliszewski was born in Rybnik, Poland. His love for music was greatly influenced by his family at the early stages. Although he took some piano classes as a child, he learned to play music on his own. He composed his first song at the age of 11. His education led him to become a locksmith. He currently resides in Warsaw.

In May 2008 he appeared in the Polish television, channel 2, TVP2 show "Szansa Na Sukces". In the autumn the same year Polish television aired series of the adventure show "Fort Boyard" where Damian and his team won the grand gold prize. He grew up watching this show and to take part and win was a dream come true for Damian. Participation in the show also resulted in Polish television hiring him as a host of the entertainment online service.

His music often appears on Polish television accompanying important events.

On 29th of December 2009 he was the feature guest of the morning tv (TVP1) show "Kawa Czy Herbata where he talked about his determination to reach his goals and dreams.

On 25th of June 2011 Damian surprised his sister Beata, at her wedding, and performed "Hallelujah" by Leaonard Cohen, lyrics translated to Polish by Maciej Zembaty. This performance has touched many hearts and gained him a great following.



On 18th of February 2012 on the morning show "Kawa Czy Herbata" on TVP1 Damian premiered his new song "Niewinni Niedoskonali". Damian is a co-producer of the project. He writes music and lyrics himself. He invited a group of talented and recognized musicians to participate.



In 2014 Polish television has produced a documentary about John Paul II "Polaczyl Nas Papiez". Damian was invited to record a studio version of his performance of "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen with lyrics translated into Polish by Maciej Zembaty. The song was used in the documentary along with another Damian's song "Jest Twoja".



"Little Things", an international portal from New York, published an article (Aug 20/15) about Damian's performance of "Hallelujah".The article was received very well across the continents. Over 8 million people worldwide saw Damian perform this song at his sister's wedding.

November 2015 brought Damian to North America, where he gave a concert in Toronto and visited in New York, Chicago and Florida. He resided in Key West, Florida, preparing for his long awaited debut album.
